How to request account deletion

You can request deletion of your Kyro account at any time. To start the process, email support@kyroesim.com from the email address linked to your Kyro account and include "Account deletion request" in the subject line.

In your message, confirm that you want your account and associated personal data deleted. We may ask you to verify your identity before processing the request, for example by replying from your account email or confirming recent order details.

If you contact Kyro through live chat or another support channel, you can also ask our team to process an account deletion request. We will guide you through the same verification steps.

Deleting your account does not automatically cancel active eSIM plans or refund unused data. If you have an active plan, review your order status before requesting deletion. You may still need your account or order details to install, activate, or troubleshoot an eSIM until the plan expires.

What data is deleted

After we verify and approve your request, we delete or anonymize personal information that is no longer required to operate Kyro or meet our legal obligations. This typically includes:

  • Your Kyro account profile, including your email address, sign-in credentials, active sessions, and email verification status.
  • Account preferences and settings stored for your Kyro profile.
  • Loyalty program data tied to your account, such as Kyro Cash balances, credit lots, and ledger entries, where deletion is permitted by applicable law.
  • Support chat session identifiers and conversation history linked specifically to your account, where retention is not required.
  • Marketing and service communication preferences associated with your account.

What data may be retained

Some information may be kept after your account is deleted when we have a legal, regulatory, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, or security reason to do so. Retained data is limited to what is necessary for those purposes and is protected with appropriate safeguards.

  • Order, invoice, and payment records, including amounts paid, currency, dates, and payment references needed for accounting, tax reporting, and chargeback or dispute resolution.
  • eSIM and fulfillment records, such as ICCID, activation status, bundle usage, and delivery history, where needed to support network partners, billing reconciliation, or customer disputes.
  • Records related to refunds, fraud investigations, abuse prevention, or security incidents.
  • Support correspondence and internal notes connected to a dispute, legal claim, or regulatory inquiry.
  • Aggregated or anonymized data that no longer identifies you, such as usage statistics used to improve Kyro services.

How long deletion takes

We begin processing verified account deletion requests promptly. In most cases, account access is disabled and eligible personal data is deleted or anonymized within 30 days of confirming your request.

Some retained records may be kept for longer periods required by law, such as tax, accounting, or fraud-prevention obligations. When those retention periods end, we delete or anonymize the information unless a further legal basis applies.

We will confirm by email when your account deletion request has been completed, or let you know if additional time is needed because of an active dispute, legal hold, or regulatory requirement.
